An Electronic Medical Record System
An EMR system contains the standard medical and clinical data gathered in one providers office. An EMR is more beneficial than paper records because it allows providers to:
Doctors and nurses can use the system search and update patients records. A patient can use the system to check the treatment history etc. The information stored in EMRs is not easily shared with providers outside of a practice. A patients record might even have to be printed out and delivered by mail to specialists and other members of the care team.
Requirements:
(1) Identify and list major functional and non-functional requirements from the above partial description and based on your own experience and investigation;
(2) Identify all major use cases, actors, and their relationships; and draw a use case diagram for the whole system;
(3) Define the use case of a patient compare two annual physical examination results, including the following scenarios:
(a) a successful scenario (the main scenario),
(b) a failed attempt due to some reason.
Make sure to use an UML tool to draw your use case diagram and the activity diagram for the workflow combining all scenarios of the required use case. You can work with a partner in this assignment.
