The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate competency in translating an algorithmically derivable HTML mark-up layout containing a table and render that table with JavaScript. The student will re-enforce skills learned in relation to mark-up, CSS, and JavaScript while completing this assignment.
Use all of the JavaScript skills learned up to this point to create a web-page that creates a dynamic calendar page. Create a form that allows the user to enter a unique calendar month and year. You can choose reasonable ranges for validation, but include as many possible calendar months as possible.
When completing this assignment, the primary difficulty encountered in writing the algorithm will be determining the day of the week on which to draw the 1st of a given month. This problem can be addressed by a mathematical process called "Zeller's Algorithm":
Once you feel like you have a good understanding of the way Zeller's algorithm works, write a JavaScript function that takes the necessary inputs for the day, month, year, and century. This can be used to determine on which day to draw the 1st for the month in your calendar month display.
