If there are stuff that we would like to have the best value for our money then it would be on grocery products. These are products that we frequently buy because we need them on a daily basis such as food, house hold cleaning materials, health care, and the like. There are many grocery stores (including online) that offers these products and they come in different size and prices. Before deciding to purchase a product, we only not think of its given cost but also other costs like taxes, sales discount, fare/gas to commute, shipping fee, bulk buy discounts, price per unit and many more. Yup, it gets confusing as it adds up so we just end up buying whichever and wherever we see the product first to get it over with. Although if we think about it, we can't really escape these purchases because they are "needs" and we want to have the most of it with the least cost.
So here it is, we built a mobile-application that would help save money. It's a simple stand-alone application where we can simply log grocery items as we go. The next time we go shopping, we can strategically decide how we can minimize the cost.
This project is created under Creative Commons license. You are allowed to use and distribute the software for free but not allowed to use it for commercial purposes. If you are a developer, you are free to fork and modify our source code.
So here's a short list of the things you can do with the application, the application does not need Internet connection to perform and all data are stored in your device.

Right, we don't want to hear you complaining about how bad and plain the user interface was done. We didn't care and had much time planning how good looking it is, but we cared more about how easy and useful it is. If you think you can do better, we have the source code open and free for use and modification. Just don't forget to link back to the original work.
