JS DSU Degrees

You have been asked to create a website for DSU. DSU has a few specifications that they would like followed to ensure their website is up to their standards. Follow the criteria below to develop this website:

1. Create a homepage and name it examl_homepage

• The homepage should have the criteria as outlined below
  • Title should be DSU Homepage
  • First heading should say "Welcome to DSU"
  • Second heading should say "Navigate our website to find university information"
  • There should be 2 DSU pictures on the homepage
  • The colors should match DSU: Background color, Text color
  • You should have an ordered list of 5 degrees displayed
  • There should also be an unordered list of the levels of degrees, E.g. Certificates, Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral
  • Put a colored horizontal line between the lists
  • Choose your own type of text formatting - must be something specified in the code
  • Add a picture of DSU Athletics and hyperlink it to the DSU athletics page
  • Create a contact us hyperlink so that when you click it Andrew.Behrens@dsu.edu comes up in your email browser in the to: box (make sure colors do not clash), Hyperlink should say "Contact Us!", Hyperlink should open email client with the email address above in the To: text box

1. Create a second page and name it examl_degreepage

• The second page should have the criteria as outlined below:
  • Title should be DSU Degrees
  • First heading should say "Here is my degree!"
  • Create a script that will display your degree when a button is clicked
  • Second heading should say "Calculate your degree time!"
  • Create a script that calculates how many years it will take you to get your degree at a certain amount of credit hours per year
  • Should be executed by the click of a button o Inputs would have to be credit hours and years
  • Calculations are division o Your output should display like the first bullet below
  • If you take 150 credit hours divided by 5 years, that equals 30 credits per year taken to graduate in 5 years
  • Refer to the video to see how your output should look. It is a little more advanced use of variables
• Place a button that when clicked shows you the date and time on this page

1. Create a link between both pages. One should say "DSU Home Page" the other should say "Degrees"

• The links should be red as well like your contact us hyperlink
