We always had this experience having difficulty building personal computers. As computer enthusiasts, we like experimenting and building our computers from scratch starting from processors, motherboards, video cards, hard drives, and so on. We honestly know what we want, the problem is, we do not know if it is in our local computer retail store.
Here in Baguio City, we have a few retail stores around. Some of them have websites where we can see their stuff and prices, some do not have websites but uses listings sites, and some never uses any of the modern marketing tools but rather uses traditional marketing.
Whatever the way they market their stuff is not what matters, but we always wanted to consider all of them simply because we want the best price. However the problem is that it is difficult to evaluate them all considering that you have to find their shop, physically visit their shop for inquiries, and difficulty to match prices.
We therefore decided to ease this problem and thought of this project to help and save time. We know it isn't perfect, but we are always open for improvements.
Update: This project has been discontinued. If you are curious why, please read Data, the Lifeblood of an Application under the Software Development Challenges article in our publication page.
Anyhow, in order to remember this application, this page will stay here and we'll leave the snapshot of the system, who knows, we might bring it back to life again someday with the right resources.
