Before you begin Step 3, incorporate the comments and suggestions that you received from your peers in Module 3. Once you have completed that, then you are ready to begin Step 3, where you will break the assumptions for your SDP Project down further.
Sketch up sample user dialogues of how they will use the program. You will identify the data needed by the program and what output to expect. You will also want to start adding comments in your RAPTOR file. The comments should tell us what is happening (or should be happening) in your program. You should also be building out parts of your program adding in code where needed for input and output. Simple RAPTOR or pseudocode "prototypes" can spell these out; check both your math and your design assumptions.
This activity will require you to assume various "roles" in the development process. Each member of the group your instructor has placed you in will assume the role of both the PD and the AD.
In your role as PD, post your current "SDP Project step work" (RAPTOR file) as early as possible so your AD(s) (other group members) can evaluate your work.
In your role of AD, collaborate and participate by providing the support requested or needed in the form of a reply to the initial post. Please review the Software Design and Programming Project page for further guidance.
In your role as the Principle Developer (PD), post your current "SDP Project step work" (RAPTOR file) by Day Four of the module and answer the following questions:
